Faking a Tan

Oh the endless possibilities and orange hands 🙂
It’s a Marvelous Monday here in sunny and scorching hot Dominican Republic! …and I wanted to out a trick used by many of us gals to create sun tanned skin.  The truth is we are all after a healthy glow.
Since I moved to the US tanning has completely been scratched off my to do. Honestly, aside from the cancer scares from sun tanning, once I turned 30, I began getting sun spots and freckles all over my face the day after being exposed to sunlight for more than 30 minutes. Yikes!
So what’s a girl to do after being covered up in a sweater for 3 months (and dreading even more dark spots)? Naturally, you fake a tan.

Yup, I’m ‘fessing up. The reason being is I discovered a new product that not only nourishes your skin, but the natural sun bathed effect it creates, literally had my girlfriends wondering what I had done.

Fake Tan Recipe:

Get this, no trick here, just real stuff that works:)

1. Clarins UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection SPF40. My new favorite 🙂
2. MAC Bronzer where necessary.

That’s it Chicas! In any part of the world, you can get your healthy glow without the damage!

I am not paid by MAC or Clarins to promote their products. This post is based on my opinion and on the result of my own experimentation.
